About

Kathy from KE Dance and Fitness has been teaching dance to people of all ages across the country for 40 years from beginners through to British Champions. I look forward to welcoming you to KE Dance and Fitness in the Sandbach area. We have always been one of the best dance schools in the area both when teaching in North Yorkshire and Cheshire. We have a comprehensive range of Dance Classes for children and adults, with or without partners.
Our Children's classes start with the very youngest children with Mini Movers Dance, which is for children up to the age of 5 accompanied by their parent/carer. The rest of the children's classes range from Ballroom, Latin, Classical Sequence and Cheerdance.
Our Adults classes are specifically designed for absolute beginners to advanced dancers and competitors. Fitsteps is another class that we offer within KE Dance, this is a popular fitness class using the Ballroom and Latin genre and music.
Kathy is a fully qualified dance teacher and adjudicator of the highest level and is a life member of United Kingdom Alliance, Fitsteps, Fitsteps Fab and Mini Movers Dance.

Mini Movers Dance

Mini Movers Dance designed for our youngest future Strictly Stars - ages 5 and under. Little ones must be accompanied by their parent/carer. This class is designed to promote movement to music, balance, speech, imagination, co-ordination and social skills.

We went to Kathy when our daughter decided to return to dance after a break. Kathy instilled confidence in her, that we never thought would return. From the moment we met her, we felt at ease. Kathy is an amazing teacher devoted to dance.
She will listen to you, support you, encourage you and help you understand and correct your technique, so you can improve. She adapts herself to every dancer, finding different ways to communicate dance.

The exercises Kathy uses in her classes vary so you never get bored. She also proposed variations for each dance, so that my daughter could always choose the difficulty she wanted to learn at. Nothing was every rushed.

We travelled a 6 hour round trip and everything about our time there was perfect. Not only is Kathy and excellent teacher, she’s a lovely and caring person too. I’m so glad we met you.
